Highlighting ROAM Gallery Artist
Peter Wolf - Woodworker
I am a fine woodworker, based in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. I create pieces of furniture that are as much about art as they are functional. I work with a variety of materials, ranging from found, reclaimed wood, nuts & bolts and industrial metals, to rich elegant hardwoods and veneers to design and make modern, innovative woodworks. I specialize in an inlay technique called Marquetry, which allows me create extraordinary scenes that push beyond the traditional. I have many skills and talents, each adding onto the next. I have a BA in Psychology, with a minor in Sustainability from Concordia University. I am also a certified Red Seal Carpenter, and have worked in the carpentry trade building unique architectural homes in the Okanagan valley since 2014. Feeling the call of my creative side, I completed the Fine Woodworking Course at Selkirk College in 2020. |
