Highlighting ROAM Gallery * Resident Artist
Ellen Bradley-Cheung
Painter & Instructor at ROAM I worked as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years but have taken time off to raise my two daughters. Raised in Nova Scotia, I now live in Surrey, BC with my family. I have always sketched, but started putting colour to canvas in 2002 . I have participated in solo and group art shows, and taught at the Neighbourhood Art Studio. I paint in acrylic and oil, depending on what inspires me. I paint nearly every day and paint once a week with a fabulous group of women who are very creative and talented. I love to paint nature, cities and figures in my ever changing style. I am influenced by the Masters, Canadian Group of Seven, Mary Pratt, Alex Coville and almost every painter I have had the honour of painting with. Everyone has something to offer, adults and children alike. ROAM Gallery Show - Feb 2017
